"a touch of glass" is a new company in which I established this year. I am a crafter of all sorts but my special vases are my pride and joy. I paint the inside of clear glass vases using a confidential method. I will not disclose my technique due to the fact that I have had ideas stolen from me so I would appreciate your understanding in that matter.

I can take a clear, dull, and boring glass vase of any shape or size and turn it into a masterpiece. My vases come out looking like they have been marbled and they have a Asian flair to them.

It takes me, from start to finish, about 30 minutes to complete a vase. That time frame is for my larger vases. I have small and large vases, all shapes and sizes, available for immediate sale.

This "art" is my absolute favorite because there is never one that looks like another. Each individual vase is unique in itself.

To start a vase I choose the base color, which can be any color available, and proceed to paint the inside of my vase. The method that I use gives it the marbling affect. I then choose my next color which will compliment the first coat and repeat my steps until I have the colors that I want in the vase. I then spray the entire inside with one-color as that color will be the one that will bleed through to create it's look and personality.

These vases are ready for any type of floral arrangement. Let your imagination run wild. These vases are suitable for "fresh flower arrangements", capable of holding water due to the fact that they have a clear seal inside, "dried floral arrangements", or silk flowers creations. The sky is the limit.

At my shows that I sell at I have placed in some of my smaller, more open vases; cottonballs to place on the bathroom counter; potpourri that you can place anywhere in your home; decorative hand soaps for your guest bath; pens and pencils; floating candles. "your" ideas can be endless as to how you wish to use them.

You can also take one of my unique and elegant vases to a floral shop and have them send an arrangement to your loved one in something beautiful that they would use time and time again.

A vase can be passed down as an heirloom to a daughter or granddaughter.

What wonderful gifts vases make for any occasion. Be it anniversaries, birthdays, baby showers, mother's day, easter, thanksgiving, christmas, new baby arrivals, and the list goes on.

These vases are made up of high-quality clear glass, leaded or not, and only the highest quality of paints are used. Nothing but the best.

I have many pictures available for viewing and shopping purposes. I am currently searching for specialty gift shops or higher end floral shops to carry my vases.

Special orders are available upon request for an additional $5.00 (us dollars) plus price of vase, S/h and state taxes where applicable. My tax base is currently 7.25%.
